Arsenal celebrates Kanu @ 39
CURRENT English FA Cup winners, Arsenal Saturday celebrated their legend, Nwankwo Kanu as he clocked 39 years of age.
Born August 1, 1976, the ex Super Eagles skipper, the Gunners posted a tweet on their handle, @Arsenal,“Morning all - we start the day by wishing a very happy birthday to former @Arsenal star @papilokanu! #KingKanu.
The Nigerian, replied,
‏@papilokanu, "@Arsenal thanks all for your wishes I appreciate."
Kanu known for the headline 'Kan U Beleive this', after he scored a hat-trick against Chelsea, after the Gunners came from a two goals down to beat the Blues 2-3 at Stamdford Bridge, joined Arsenal in the winter of 1999 from Inter Milan and made 119 appearances for the Londoners in the Premier League, scoring 30 goals.
He won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Community Shield during the five years he spent at Highbury.
