Solanke joins Vitesse on loan

NIGERIA-Born Dominic Solanke has joined Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
The England Under-18s is on a season-long loan.
“Pleased to say I have joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season long loan. Thanks for all the support,” tweeted the forward after completing the paperwork on Tuesday evening.
Solanke has enjoyed a prosperous spell on the pitch over the last year. Having helped his country win the European U17s Championship last summer, he went on to fire over 40 goals for the Blues’ development sides over the campaign and added to his medal collection by helping them win The FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League.
The 17-year-old was also handed a first-team debut by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, appearing from the bench during the Champions League victory over Maribor.
Solanke joined in training with his new team-mates on Tuesday morning before signing his deal in the afternoon.
He is not eligible for Thursday’s Europa League qualifier second-leg against Southampton while his transfer’s administrative procedure is verified by FIFA, but he will continue to train with the squad until he is eligible for selection.
