Oshaniwa returns to Hearts' training

SUPER Eagles left-back, Juwon Oshaniwa returned to training with his Scottish Premier League (SPL) side, Hearts Thursday and should be available for Saturday’s visit of Hamilton.
The Nigerian sat out sessions at the start of the week because of a niggling hamstring problem but medical staff are hopeful he will come through training Thursday and tomorrow (Friday) unscathed.
Oshaniwa managed to play the full 90 minutes last weekend as
Hearts recorded an impressive 4-0 win at Partick Thistle.
Although not 100 per cent fit, he agreed to play because of a shortage of experienced defenders. Blazej Augustyn was suspended and captain Alim Ozturk is recovering from hernia surgery, so the Nigerian was needed in the left-back position.
Hearts let him rest at the start of the week to help his hamstring recover. Provided he suffers no reaction to training, he will again be in contention for a place in the team on Saturday against Hamilton. The forthcoming international break offers the chance of a two-week rest as Oshaniwa has not been selected for the Nigeria squad.
Augustyn is available this weekend after serving a one-match
suspension and he is expected to resume his partnership with Igor Rossi in central defence. Should Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson decide not to risk Oshaniwa, Jordan McGhee will fill in at left-back.
