CHAN-Eagles/Angola: FAF axe coach Filemon

ANGOLAN Football Federation (FAF) have indicated that the international tune-up game against Nigeria's Home-Based Eagles will still played in South Africa despite sacking the Palancas Negras coach, Romeu Filemon.
The friendly was meant to shape up both teams as they prepare for the 4th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda.
NaijaSportsXtra gathered from a statement issued on Monday by the FAF that Filemon was shown the exit door for "unjustified absence" as he failed to resume work on Sunday, thus making the making the FAF to postpone the Palancas Negras trip to South Africa to 30th December.
Filemon's deputies, Afonso Paxe Son and Dombasi Njinga John were also asked to go too.
Meanwhile José Kilamba and André Makanga have been named as interim coaches for the team.
Recall Nigeria who won bronze in the last edition in South Africa will open their Group campaign against Niger Republic on January 18th before tackling Guinea and Morocco.
