Our game plan worked against Norwich-Ighalo

SUPER Eagles ace, Odion Ighalo has hinted that Quique Sanchez Flores’ game plan really worked for them in the 2-0 victory over Norwich City at the Vicarage Road.
Nigerian who bagged his 9th goal of the season, stole the afternoon as he won a penalty for Troy Deeney's opening goal and added the icing on the cake scoring in stoppage time.
"The key was that we pressed them high and we didn't allow them to play, so they played long balls and that's what we were waiting for," the former Granada of Spain striker told the Watford Weekend Post-Match Review on Hornets PlayerHD.
"When we got the ball we tried to play and counter them, so the game-plan really worked and we played really good.
"I think last Saturday's game was one of our best, after the West Ham game, so we want to keep pushing and see how far we are going to go at the end of the season."
It was a real team effort from the Golden Boys, according to Ighalo, who says focus will now quickly turn to next weekend's long trip north to Sunderland.
"The teamwork has been great, you see the way we have been pushing ourselves and the team really worked hard from the first minute until the last minute today," said Ighalo.
"We can't single out any player because from Heurelho to the top, everybody really worked hard and we deserved the three points.
"We are happy and we just want to forget about now because it's gone. We are thinking about the next game because we want to try and win games.
"We know we're going to have some difficult times, but if we keep picking up points now we know we are going to be safe at the end of the season."
