Heartland FC of Owerri team doctor, Dr. Andy has informed that Brownbraye Okpus will be out of the mid-week tie against Shooting Stars of Ibadan at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Okpus was resuscitated after he passed out in the 83rd minute during Heartland's home game against Rivers United which they won 2-1 on Sunday.
Dr. Andy told the club's official twitter handle @HeartlandFC_ng.
"He (Okpus) is very ok now but would rest and not join the team for the trip to Ibadan"
"Okpus had no health issues, his passing out was due to the pressure from and high intensity of the game"
The victory against the Garden City team saw the Dike revived Heartland move into the top 10 spot.
