LESS than 24 hours after resignation of Milovan Rajevac, the Algerian FA has lined up ex-Roma of Italy coach, Rudi Garcia ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria in Uyo, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Recall the Serb left his role as the Desert Foxes coach after claims that he lost the players locker room after the 1-1 draw against Cameroon in their first Russia 2018 qualifying game.
Reports from Algiers have indicated that aside the Frenchman, FAF has also contacted USM Alger former coach, Rolland Courbis.
However, contact was said to have been made to Courbis, but a source informed that the Algerian FA board has to meet to deliberate on the USM Alger's coach who is without a job.
On the other hand, 51-year-old Garcia is reported could not be reached via telephone but it's certain that before the end of the week or early next week that the Frenchman or his agent would be contacted.
Meanwhile, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has also announced that it's Desert Foxes and delegation will arrive Uyo, South-South Nigeria on November 10 for the 2018 World Cup 2nd round of games against Nigeria, via a chartered Air Algeria flight.
An advance part made up of two or three FAF officials has been sent to Uyo to formalize arrangements regarding hotel and other logistics for the Algerian delegation.
The chartered flight is expected to fly directly from Algiers to Uyo on November 10, 2016 and will return just after the match scheduled November 12, 2016 at 17h 30 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium (Nest of Champions).
