By Rasaq Oboirien
RECUPERATING Mainz 05 defender, Leon Balogun has expressed his delight after comparing Super Eagles new style of football to that of Spain's tiki-taka, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Balogun who missed out from coach Gernot Rohr's squad to Ndola, made the comments after strikes from Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho nailed Zambia's Chipolopolo in Sunday's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
"So we play tiki-taka now?! 🙈😏 wonderful play, finished by ice cold @67Kelechi makes it 2-0 🇳🇬🙏🏽.
"@NGSuperEagles Nothing worth having comes easy! Happy we won this fight and took all 3 pts! Algeria next 🇳🇬💪🏾," his tweets read on @LeonBalogun.
Eagles next game in the qualifiers will be against the continent number one rated team in Uyo come November.
The victory against Zambia see Nigeria go top of the group with 3points after Algeria and Cameroon shared the spoils in Algiers.
