Ogunjobi, Osun FA, Prime FC mourn late Izu Joseph 


OSUN State Football Association boss, Taiwo Ogunjobi on Monday expressed deep sorrow at news of the death of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, defender Izu Joseph, who was reportedly shot by the JTF. 
Ogunjobi, who is also the Chairman of Prime Football Club in a statement signed by his media aide, Tunde Shamsudeen, described the demise of Izu as sad, shocking, unfortunate and a huge loss to football in the Nigeria Professional Football League. 
Ogunjobi, said he received the news with great shock and prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and for God to console his family, friends, colleagues, 3SC, Oyo State Government and the football family and to grant all the fortitude to bear his painful exit. 
“I am shocked upon hearing the sad news of the passing on of Izu Joseph. I sympathize with Shooting Stars family, the Oyo State Government, and I am praying God to give his family the fortitude to bear the loss,” the Osun Pillar of Sports said.
