The Arsenal ace who had to switch his football aligiance to Nigeria despite playing for England at the youth level said via his twitter handle @alexiwobi.
"Got to Belgium safely and trained with the squad, looking forward to the week #SuperEagles."
He also expressed his delight after he put pen to a new deal that will see him stay in the Emirate for a long time.
"Happy to announce that I have signed a new contract with Arsenal."
Iwobi has made 34 appearances for the Arsenal Under-21 team and has 12 goals to show for his efforts.
