2014/15 NPFL Season Review: Club Owners to meet in Lagos

BASKING in the euphoria of having one of the best organized and successful domestic football season in the Nigeria apex League, the Association of Nigeria premier League Club chairmen and Managers ( Club Owners) are set to meet in Lagos in what appears to be a review of the season and a get together celebrations for a hitch free soccer season.
This form part of the resolutions at the end of the Executive meeting of the Association held on Tuesday in Abuja.
The Club Owners resolution which was signed by the Ag. Chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Ag. Secretary Alloy chukwuemeka also congratulated the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria for Winning the U-17 world cup.
The Association praised the young stars for their commitment and hardwork and commended the coaches and officials as well as the NFF for the feat achieved. It added that the various professional clubs in the country would be encouraged to provide platforms to absorb any of the young stars Who wish to ply his trade locally inorder to boost their performance and career.
Club owners have also congratulated the new Minister of sports and Youth Development Solomon Dalung on his appointment and assured him of necessary supports for him to excel in office.
The Association charged the new Minister to work along with the already made progress in the Nigeria Domestic league this season and seek ways of providing the needed atmosphere to consolidate and improve on the success recorded so far.
Meanwhile all members of the Club Owners are expected to arrive Lagos on Saturday 21st November 2015 to witness the grand final of this years Federation cup on Sunday between two member club sides Lobi stars FC vs Akwa United FC.
The General Meeting of the Club Owners will hold at Jonaith Hotels and Suites at Lekki in Lagos on Monday 23rd November 2015 by 10pm to review the just concluded season, after which members will proceed to the Lagos Business School to attend a sportspro capacity building workshop for sport administrators between 24th to 26th Nov. 2015.
Also In a related development, members of the Club Owners will on Tuesday 24th Nov. by 7pm attend the yearly end of season dinner party for club chairmen and Managers alongside their spouses, put together by one of its partners and promoters, Owu sports Wears Ltd, a local sports kits manufacturer. The event holds at Lampoghini center Lekki Lagos till dawn.
