Onobi is hungry to play-Oliseh

SUPER Eagles Head Coach, Sunday Oliseh has given reasons why Sunshine Stars creative midfielder, Paul Onobi started ahead of John Mikel Obi against Swaziland on Tuesday in Port-Harcourt.
Recall that two second half goals from Moses Simon and Efe Ambrose saw Nigeria advance into the group stages of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers at the expense of Sihlangu who held the Eagles to a barren draw in the 1st leg.
Oliseh said after the make-or-bust game that: "Onobi is hungry, he adapted to my game plan. He has also vindicated my philosophy.
"Recall that when I took the Super Eagles job, I did say that any player if or not plays in the Nigerian League or Europe can fight for shirt, that he has done, so am happy for him.
"Mind you, my rule still stands, that's no players has a permanent shirt in my team."
Oliseh will now shift focus to shaping the Home-Based players for Rwanda who will host the 4th edition of the African Football Championship (CHAN) in January, 2016.
