FIFA Rankings: Nigeria out of Africa's top 10

.Now 59th in the World from 52nd
Nigeria is no longer rated among the top 10 African football power house as its male national team, the Super Eagles is now rated 12th in the continent by FIFA.
The new rankings for November see Nigeria drop significantly from the 52nd spot to an embarrassing 59th spot.
The development could be due to the international friendly defeat to Congo DR, regardless of the Eagles 3-0 victory over rivals, Cameroon.
Ivory Coast leads Africa top 10 followed by Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde Island, Senegal, Tunisia, Cameroon, Congo, Guinea and Congo.
Meanwhile, Belgium has moved up to No. 1 in the rankings
for the first time. Despite only reaching the World Cup quarterfinals last year, Belgium rose two places after two wins in European Championship qualifying matches.
World Cup champion Germany is No. 2, just ahead of Argentina,

which fell two places in a top 20 dominated by European and
South American teams. Portugal is No. 4 and Copa America
champion Chile are fifth on the log.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 3 December 2015.
