Slavisa Jokanvic says Nosa Igiebor and his teammates must play better when
they meet Chelsea in this week's UEFA Champions League tie at Sammy Ofer
Stadium.
Recall the 1st leg ended 4-0
in favour of the EPL champions.Jokanvic, while speaking after goals from Zahavi, Igiebor and Rikan ensured the Tel Aviv giants beat Hapoel Haifa 3-0, "We started playing the game in the first half, but weren’t able to score. We were not aggressive enough in the last 1/3 of the pitch. In the second half we scored the penalty and then with an extra player we were able to score two more goals.”
On playing Chelsea this week: “We need to play better against Chelsea than we did on Saturday. The Champions League is the highest level of European football. Chelsea may not have played well this season but they are still Chelsea, we have to show our best and I expect that we will do this.”
