NIGERIA'S foe in next month's U-23 African Cup of Nations, tagged Senegal 2015, Egypt has announced its final squad that will be leaving for the championship.
The Pharaohs are in group B along with Algeria, Mali and Nigeria. Egypt’s first match will be against Algeria on 29 November.
El Badry’s list included 22 players as one player will be excluded before the tournament starts.
The full squad: Goalkeepers: Mosaad Awad, Mahmoud Hamdy, Hassan Shaheen.
Defenders: Mohamed Adel Gomaa, Mohamed Hamdy, Mohamed Hany, Yasser Ibrahim, Ragab Nabil, Rami Rabia, Mahmoud Hamdy, Mahmoud Metwally.
Midfielders: Mohamed Fathi, Saleh Gomaa, Mahmoud Metwally, Karim Nedved, Ramadan Sobhy, Mostafa Fathi, Mohamed Ashraf, Karim Mamdouh, Osama Ibrahim.
Forwards: Mahmoud Kahraba, Mohamed Salem, Hussein Ragab.
The top three teams of the tournament will qualify automatically for the male soccer event of the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro.
