THE League Management Company (LMC) has banned the Akure Township Stadium, home ground of Sunshine Stars for one year.
This development is coming after irate fans disrupted the matchday game against Lobi Stars who were leading 0-1, as Sharks FC risk a 3points and 3 goals deduction.
Both teams were fined N5,000,000 and N3,000,000 respectively by the country's domestic league body.

In another development, struggling Sharks FC of Port-Harcourt , the LMC says would lose 3 points and 3 goals from already accrued points on season tally for refusing to continue play after penalty awarded against it at the Lafia Stadium on matchday 36.
Sharks General Manager, Chief Okey Kpalukwu was cited for breach of clause 1 of the code of conduct for Club Officials, Appendix E of the Framework and Rules and fined N250, 000. The LMC further reprimanded the club official for failure to properly control his players when they abandoned the match against Nasarawa United which is in breach of article C1 of the league Framework and Rules.
It then award Nasarawa United 3 points and 3 goals from abandoned game.
