Erstwhile Sunshine Stars Head Coach, Kennedy Boboye was among those grilled for the vacant Abia Warriors top job.
The junior ex-international who resigned from his post with the Akure Gunners after a poor finish last season, recently completed his CAF License B coaching course in Abuja.NaijaSportsXtra gathered Wednesday that Boboye was among the big names that applied for the job and was Thursday interviewed by Abia Warriors management alongside other coaches that applied for the job and the few assistant that Ladan Bosso left behind following his contract expiration.
The Abia State owned team who finished 10th on the log last season with 53points, is expected to name a new Head Coach at the end of the exercise this week or early next week.
