FIFA ELECTIONS: Prince Ali woo NFF

PRINCE Ali Ibn Hussein was in Nigeria to woo the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) executives to vote him next year’s FIFA presidential election.
The Jordanian, one of the candidates for the World football governing body top job on Thursday made a stop over in Lagos to see the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick.
Both men spent some time together at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport before Prince Ali flew to Paris.
Ali’s whistle –stop campaign will take him to most of the 209 member associations of FIFA, before the presidential elections scheduled for February 26 in Zurich.
Ali polled more than 70 votes during the battle with Blatter at the FIFA Congress in May this year. South Africa’s Tokyo Sexwale and former FIFA deputy secretary-general Jerome Champagne are also in the race.
