CHAN 2016: Nigeria, Angola share spoils in Pretoria

NIGERIA'S Home-Eagles and their Angolan counterpart, Palancas Negras shared the spoils in Wednesday evening pre-African Nations Championship (CHAN) tune-up game played in Pretoria.
The game which was played in closed doors, saw both teams slugging it out.
Sunshine Stars midfielder, Paul Onobi made an early exit from the game as he was substituted for Mohammed Usman.
Palancas Negras should have taken the lead at the dot of half time via a penalty, but the spot kick was missed as the first stanza ended 0-0.
As the second half got underway, Coach Sunday Oliseh in the 48th minute made another substitution as he threw in Salawu, Okoro, Orji, Jamiu and Odah for Thomas, Onyedikachi, Aggreh, Eze and Etim.
As the clock thick away, Warri Wolves midfielder, Ibenegbu scores from the spot after Salawu was brought down by a Palancas Negras defender in penalty box in the 84th minute.
But the one goal lead didn't last for more than three minutes as the Angolans leveled scores at 1-1 as they scored via a header from a corner-kick.
The team will on January 11th tackle Ivory Coast Elephants in another friendly game in Pretoria.
