By Rasaq OboirienMEDIA Officer to Enyimba FC of Aba, Farriel Apaluta says he can't wait to see the new turf that will be installed for the 7th time Nigeria Premier League (NPL) champions.
The project is been handled by MONIMICHELLE Sports Facility Construction Limited.
According to Apaluta, "After visiting the Enyimba stadium today (Wednesday), I can't wait to see the new pitch, complete with shock absorbers, drainage systems and sprinklers.
"MoniMichelle are doing a fantastic job and look set to complete the project on time.
"I sat with the boss of MoniMichelle on what used to be Enyimba FC's pitch. New turf should be on in three weeks," his tweet read @Farriel.
When completed the Enyimba playing pitch and that of Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium will be the biggest in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Monimichelle through its Italian partner, Limota is installing at the 100% natural GEO
technology pitch. It has the same characteristics as a properly manicured natural turf pitch with zero abrasion, 100 % foot stability, natural ball behaviour and it also increases energy resistitution of the players for the Aba Millionaires.
The Sports Facility Construction firm had before now installed the pitches at the Karkanda Stadium in Katsina and Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.
