The 7th time Nigeria Premier League champions were robbed on Monday in Okenne, a majo town in Kogi State as they were traveling to Kaduna.
Media Officer to the Peoples Elephant, Farriel Apaluta told NaijaSportsXtra that: "After the robbery attack at Okenne, the team arrived Kaduna safely and checked into their hotel.
"No new development, as the team is simply preparing for the
tournament. Players have recovered fully from the shock."
Recall the bandits made away with valuables belonging to the players and other coaching staff.
