Speaking after the inspection of facilities at the State Sports Complex, leader of the delegation, Alhaji Mohammed Haruna Maigidansanma said he was satisfied with the conditions of the facilities he saw on ground.
"I am really impressed with what I have seen on ground, it shows that the management of Sunshine Stars and the Ondo State Football Association are ready to kick start the season"."I give pass mark, but there is still room for improvement. With the facilities on ground, Sunshine Stars can host their matches at the stadium."
Some of the facilities visited and inspected include the playing pitch, dressing rooms, goal post nets, score board, ambulance, medical, spectators seating terrace, media gallery, reserve benches, and camera stands among others.
Sunshine Stars will kick start the season on Sunday, 21st of February, 2016 with a match against Federation Cup Champion, Akwa United.
The match which holds at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure will be watched by football fans from within and outside the state free of charge.
The Management of the Ondo State Football Agency according to the Chairman, Prince John Ola Mafo decided to throw the gates open in a bid to appreciate the football followers and stakeholders for their support over the years and also seek more cooperation and support in this new season.
