GOLD CUP: Ikhana spy Giwa, Pillars

SHOOTING Stars FC of Ibadan Technical Adviser, Coach Kadiri Ikhana on Saturday watched the Gold Cup pre-season game between former Nigeria Premier League champions, Kano Pillars

and Giwa FC in Ijebu-ode reports NaijaSportsXtra.The Masu Gida side defeated their opponents from Jos by a lone goal to qualify to the semi-final final on 6points.
Recall the Baba Ganaru side beat NationWide League One side, FC Ebedei 2-0 in their opening Group A game.
Ikhana, whose Oluyole Warriors are having their pre-season camping in Ijebu-Ode was on ground to watch the high profile game in company of his assistant, Friday Christopher.
The ex-Enyimba coach watched the match from the perimeter fence with keen interest as both NPL sides matched themselves skills for skills with a view to claiming the maximum 3points.
Not satisfied with the first half one goal situation, Ikhana made sure he didn't miss any action in the concluded half.
The Edo-born coach then left the Dipo Dina Stadium having sensed that Giwa FC could not score an equalising goal as the clock ticked away.
Recall that the Oluyole Warriors welcome Giwa FC of Jos to the Adamasingba Stadium on match day 5.
