OLISEH RANTS: Ikpeba, others didn't resign-Akinwunmi

NIGERIA Football Federation (NFF) 1st VP, Seyi Akinwunmi has played down report that some members of its technical committee tendered their resignation letters over the Sunday Oliseh 'Insane' youtube saga, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
It was reported that the likes of Victor Ikpeba, Mutiu Adepoju and Garba Lawal resigned after what they perceived as saboutage after they NFF by-passed the punishment they recommended for the Eagles coach video rant to yielded to that of the Sports Minister.
Akinwunmi who was guest on Soccer Africa, Supersport on Thursday said: "If National Team Coaches have issues, they should approach the NFF and bare their minds.
"Technical Committee members were truly upset, but did not resign."
On the issues of the Glass House been broke, the Lagos State FA boss stated that: "Financial challenges of the moment as a result of new government, with a new Minister and a number of

changes in policy at the top.
"We are agreed with the Minister of Sports to work very hard to move Nigeria football to new heights.
"We, also want to establish new standards and get corporate support. But State of economy not making it easy. But it will get better."
