Spokes person to the Akure Waves Wahab Bankole disclosed on Thursday that: "We can't wait for the new season to kick-off as we have ended our pre-season camping and trials for invited players."The club have identified the players it intends to sign for the season. So what we plan doing is to register the ones we have cleared finally from their respective clubs.
"Most likely Sunshine Stars will be registering close to 25 players before the season kicks off on February 21."
The Akure Waves who missed out in a continental spot on the last day of the season will begin its campaign with a home game against last year's Federations Cup champions, Akwa United.
