Vipers unlucky against Enyimba-Nsimbe

VIPERS SC coach, George Nsimbe has regreated his team's failure to progress to the next round of the CAF Champions League after bowing out to Enyimba FC of Aba on 2-1 aggregate.
The Ugandan champions who took a 1-0 lead to Port Harcourt from the first leg played started well until danger man Mfon Udoh leveled the aggregate 1-1 in the 34th minute strike for the hosts from the spot kick inside the Adokiye Amiessiamaka Sports Complex in Port-Harcourt.
“We played according game plan but we were not lucky enough to get the deserved result,” Coach Nsimbe said.
Udoh then bagged his brace for seven times Nigerian champions with a back heel in the 65th minute meaning Vipers needed to score a brace to make it to the next round.
Enyimba will go on to face Burundi’s Vital’O in the first round next month.
Meanwhile Vipers are expected back in Uganda on Tuesday.
