Vipers will work extra hard against Enyimba- Keziron

VIPERS SC midfield dynamo Keziron Kizito believes team work will compensate for departed influential Captain, Farouk Miya’s absence to earn them a win against Enyimba at Nakivubo Stadium on Friday.Last month, Miya nailed a professional contract that will see him join Belgian giants, Standard Liege.
Miya’s move thus omits him from Vipers’ maiden continental campaign squad, with the Uganda Premier League champions set to battle Nigeria’s Enyimba Fc in the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League.
“Without doubt Miya has been a very key, inspirational player for us but although he leaves at such a crucial time, we know we have to work extra hard to make up for his absence,” Keziron said.
However, Keziron believes that Vipers boast players with enough continental experience to enable them upstage two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba in tomorrow’s encounter.
“Many of us have been involved with the national team for quite long now that we believe the games we have played with the CHAN team, U-23, CECAFA and Cranes gives us the much-needed continental experience,” Keziron said.
Vipers will bank on the home support to overcome Enyimba FC before they travel to West Africa two weeks later.
