GOLD CUP FINAL: We won't underrate Supreme Court-Pillars

NIGERIA Premier League favourites, Kano Pillars have said that they won't take Friday's Gold Cup pre-season final game against Supreme Court of Abuja with kid gloves.
Both teams who made it to the finale defeating Crown FC and Lobi Stars respectively, played a barren draw when they met in their final Group A game.
 Idris Malikwa told NaijaSportsXtra after Pillars final practice session on Thursday morning that: "We had wished for a Pillars versus Lobi Stars final game, however its a repeat of our group game with Supreme Court.
"The are a good side, and so Pillars will not underrate them.
"We'll give the game our best shot come Friday.
"We also want to commend the organisers for a well package pre-season tournament took as it has help the participating teams to know their strength and weakness."
On getting to the to the finals, Pillars beat FC Ebedei 2-0, Giwa FC 1-0 and drew 0-0 with Supreme Court, while the Abuja based NNL side shocked the Gbenga Ogunbote side 1-0 and beat

FC Ebedei 2-0.
In the semi-finals, the Baba Ganaru side came from behind to beat Crown FC 2-1 while Supreme Court edged out Lobi Stars 4-3 on penalties after full time scoreline had stood at 1-1.
