MAJOR League Soccer (MLS) side, Houston Dynamo on Monday announced that Nigerian midfielder Rasheed Olabiyi has been put on waivers.
The 25-year-old signed with the Dynamo in July of 2015. He made four starts in seven appearances and notched an assist during the 2015 season. He committed 10 fouls in a total of 283 minutes played.
Olabiyi's release comes just under a week prior to the Dynamo's season opener on March 6 against the New England Revolution at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Olabiyi once played for Enyimba FC of Aba and Shooting Stars of Ibadan.
