CHELSEA and Arsenal of England duo of John Obi Mikel and Alex Iwobi were among the early birds to arrive the Super Eagles Abuja camp on Monday morning ahead the AFCON 2017 double header against Egypt, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
The other foreign based players that are also in camp are União da Madeira of Portugal midfielder, Shehu Abdullahi and Osmanlıspor of Turkey defender while Sunshine Stars goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dream Team 6 ace Etebo Oghenekaro are the two local based players in camp to swell the total number of players six.
Nigeria host the 1st leg on March 25 in Kaduna while the city of Alexandria in Egypt will stage the 2nd leg four days time.
According to the official Super Eagles twitter handle @NGSuperEagles informed that: "Camp update 8am, Monday, Already in: Mikel Obi, Alex Iwobi, Shehu Abdullahi, Aminu
Umar, Ike Ezenwa, Etebo Oghenekaro."
Meanwhile, the team is expected to leave for Kaduna on Tuesday after the morning training session, at the Abuja National Stadium, which will be open to the media.
