By Rasaq Oboirien
SUPER Eagles midfielder, John Obi Mikel is in a right frame for Wednesday's night must win UEFA Champions League game against Paris St Germaine (PSG), reports NaijaSportsXtra.
The Nigerian was all smiles as he completed the Blues Tuesday's training session at Cobham.
Mikel who scored a vital away goal in the 2-1 loss at Parc des Princes caused the free-kick and the deflection that led to PSG's first goal.
Meanwhile, the duo of Pedro and Diego Costa have handed Chelsea a boost ahead the last-16 second-leg fixture, after both them took part in training. The Blues who are up against PSG for a third-straight season in the competition, won the quarter-final tie in 2014 on
away goals, but drew in Paris last season before a 2-2 draw after extra-time in the return at Stamford Bridge saw PSG advance on away goals scored by David Luiz and Thiago Silva, despite the first-half dismissal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
If Chelsea progress and Gent lose, Mikel will be the only Nigerian remaining in Europe's elite inter-club championship.
