GOVERNOR Henry Seriake Dickson has reappointed Anthony Ogola as Chairman of Bayelsa United, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
The former Nigeria Premier League champions who got relegated last season will kick-off their campaign to return to top flight football in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Eddy Ohis, Spokesperson to the Yenegoa team disclosed on Monday that: "The Bayelsa State Head of Service, Dr. Peter Singabele broke the news to Ogola and also sent an official letter to him, directing him to take charge of the club for another season.
"A delighted Ogola, thanked Governor Dickson for deeming him fit to run the affairs of the club again despite what happened last season.
"He, however promised to return the club to the topflight."
Speaking, Ogola also hinted that they are just waiting for the Nigeria National League (NNL) to announce a kick-off date as the club has set machinery in place to have a hitch-free season.
"35 players have been registered by the club for the season, as they are in sagbama camping under the watchful eyes of their coaches."
