"The ruthlessness of Etoile du Sahel was startling. So much so that the ref couldn't get into the dressing room during half time.
"I was prevented from using my tablet, phone and camera. The head of the Abia State Permanent Secretary of Sports was cracked open by stones.
"The threat of violence was so high that all Enyimba officials were on the bench during the game, the only safe place they could hide.
"Despite that, rocks, iron rods and plastic bottles were rained down on the roof of the bench throughout. You dared not raise your head high."
"During half time, the match officials and match commissioner were victims of the stoning and they had to retreat to the bench of Etoile.
"It was our water the match officials had to drink. Etoile officials abandoned them. Unbelievable scenes. Never seen anything like that," he stated.
