EX-Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has been named by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) as member of its Technical Study Group (TSG) during the men football event of the Rio Olympics, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
The world biggest sporting event is expected to kick-off in August in Brazil.
Oliseh expressed his delight via social media, twitter during the weekend.
"Honoured to be appointed into the "new look" FIFA Technical Department. Next mission; The 2016 Rio Olympics Football."
The former Super Eagles skipper who won gold with Nigeria at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 will be doing more of game analyses.
Meanwhile, Coach Samson Siasia who heads to Rio on Tuesday will watch the male soccer event draw live on April 14 at the Maracana.
Nigeria have been placed in Pot 2 with Korea Republic, Honduras and Iraq.
