CHELSEA FC of England celebrated 10 years of Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel stay with the club, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The West London-based club posted a video on their official website to celebrate the Nigerian after clocking the milestone.
The 29-year-old joined Chelsea from Lyn Oslo of Norway in 2006 after a protracted transfer tussle with Manchester United.
Mikel who is the third Nigerian to lift a UEFA Champions League trophy after Ajax duo of Nwankwo Kanu and Finidi George has two EPL titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups and
one Europa Cup medal in his trophy cabinet.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) also went on social media to hail the Mikel.
The NFF wrote on its official twitter handle @theNFF: “We join Chelsea FC to celebrate the 10th year of Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi at the club.”
