FIFTY members of the Go Round FC Supporters club on Saturday received replica kits donated by a fan of the club, Nkem Nwaribe.
Nwaribe, a Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor had before the league started presented the club with forty pairs of boots just before the league game in Omoku between Go Round and Prime FC.
He also promised to do more during the course of the league.
“I just want to support the vision of the club owner, Felix Obuah who has run this club for more than ten years.
“It’s part of a promise I made to support and encourage them,” Nkem Nwaribe said.
General Manager of the club, Soni Uboh reiterated that it wasn’t the first time Nkem Nwaribe was doing a thing like this and spoke of his excitement.
“I’m excited with what Nwaribe did. It’s not the first time he is doing a thing like this,” Uboh said.
“It’s indeed a show of love and great support to this club that is a rallying point for people of ONELGA in Rivers State,” Uboh said.
Aside the fifty jerseys, Nkem Nwaribe also presented the club with thirty caps.
