Pinnick orders NFF accountant to pay Siasia, others $60k

AMAJU  Pinnick has disclosed he has directed that a sum of $60,000 recently received from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) be used to clear the unpaid salaries of Nigeria Olympic team coach Samson Siasia and his assistants, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com
Before the Olympics in Rio, Siasia told the media he has not received his salary for five months.
“I have directed the secretariat that the $60,000 we received from CAF be used immediately to pay the U23 team coaches,” the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) boss revealed on a YouTube interview.
“Use this money to pay them and we are in the process of paying them.”
Sia One will later tonight be at the dug-out as his Dream Team side trade tackles with Columbia in the final Group B game.
Nigeria who become the first African side to win Olympic gold in the men's football event, looks set for another gold in Rio are they are already in the last eight of the championship.
