Prime play FC Ebedei, BFA for Osun Sports Council boss



PRIME Football Club has been scheduled to play two friendly matches on Wednesday evening at the Oshogbo Township Stadium in honour of the out going General Manager of Osun Sports Council, Akin Adio.
The Nigeria National League side are expected to go against Nationwide League One side, FC Ebedei of Sagamu and Brazilian Football Academy of Iwo.
The friendly matches is packaged by the State of Osun Football Association on the voluntary retirement of Akin Adio.
Adio will officially retires from the civil service on Friday September 9, 2016.
President FC Ebedei, Barrister Churchill Oliseh, described Adio as someone who have paid his dues in all sporting events and he deserved to be celebrated.
Oliseh eulogized Osun FA for organizing the matches to celebrate the iconic General Manager.
"Adio has contributed a lot to the development of Sports in Osun State and that was why I brought my team from Ogun State to rejoice with him after his meritorious years in the civil service," Oliseh said.
Adio, was the former Secretary of Osun FA, a position he held for 16 years before he was elevated to the position of General Manager in 2012.
The Iwo-born astute administrator was the pioneer chairman of Association of FA Secretaries in Nigeria, he is a seasoned Match Commissioner, Chairman Osun Babes FC and a Board Member of Prime Football Club.
