Okobi scores, Vittsjo beat Djurgården 4-1

SUPER Falcons striker, Ngozi Okobi is set to dazzle the African Women Championship with goals as she scored in Vittsjo's 4-1 thrashing of Djurgården on Sunday, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
It was the 22-year-old third goal in the Sweden Women Damallsvenskan this season.
Okobi, who is among the nine foreign based stars expected by Coach Florence Omagbemi, her assistants and the home-based Falcons, scored Vittsjo second of the afternoon after she puts the ball behind Djurgården goalkeeper a minute after Carolina Mendes canceled Clara Markstedt's second minute lead.
Linda Sallstrom then made it 3-1 with less than five minutes to the end of half time.
Markstedt then completed the 4 - 1 rout scoring her brace in the 66th minute.
Still placed 7th on the log, Vittsjo are 25 points behind leaders Linköping.
Linköping on the other hand, hammered Mallbacken 6-0 as Danish striker, Pemile Mosegaard-Harder bagged a hat-trick.
Okobi, who will be featuring in her third AWC would help Nigeria retain the title they won two years ago as the Falcons are in Group B with rivals, Ghana Black Queens, Kenya and Mali.
