NIGERIA Premier League defending champions, Rangers International of Enugu will embark on a close camping next week to prepare for the 2016/17 season and CAF Champions League, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Imama Amapakabo said in a chat on Saturday at the finale of the Bet9ja NLO Super 8 tourney.
"We'll commence our close camping next week as the players are expected to arrive As from Monday.
"This will enable us prepare for the upcoming football season which is expected to kick-off in December and also for the CAF Champions League."
The former junior international who recently sealed a new two years deal after his contract expired when he guided the Flying Antelopes to the first league crown after 32 years also informed that the club have beefed up the squad with the signing of some key players.
"We have signed a few players, so they will be joining us to prepare for the seaso."
Rangers and Rivers United will fly Nigeria's flag at next season's CAF Champions League.
