'Yahoo boys' use Omeruo's name to scam people on Facebook

SUPER Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has warned unsuspecting Nigerians not to fall to the antics of Internet fraudsters who are using his name on social media platform, Facebook for scam, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The fraudsters popularly referred to as 'Yahoo Yahoo' in local parlance  have created several facebook account on the Turkey based defender's name and acting as his football agent, thus looking for young soccer players to fall prey on the promise that Kenneth will help them secure a deal in Europe.
Omeruo took his official Facebook account on Sunday to appeal to the public.
"Please don't be deceived by other fake Facebook accounts out there. I will never ask anyone for money to go for trials anywhere, as am not an agent.
So please keep your money and don't let people use my name on Facebook to deceive you. 
I know everything might look so real but they are not so smart, thanks."
Recall Ogenyi Onazi almost fell pray to 'Yahoo boys' who wanted to use a credit card in his name to pay for goods in far away Shanghai, China.
