THE Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has announced that it's Desert Warriors and delegation will arrive Uyo, South-South Nigeria on November 10 for the 2018 World Cup 2nd round of games against Nigeria, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
In an emergency meeting held today (Wednesday) and chaired by Mr. Mohamed Raouraoua, the main agenda was on the resignation of Milovan Rajevac and the Warriors poor showing against Cameroon.
FAF members concluded that a new coach should be hired in time for the tie against Nigeria if the Desert Warriors are to revive their Russia 2018 hopes.
Recall that the Serbian coach threw in the towel after he lost the locker room following protest from some senior players in the team.
At the end, an advance part has been sent to Uyo to formalize arrangements regarding hotel and other logistics for the Algerian delegation.
The Algerian FA further informed that a chartered Air Algeria flight will fly directly from Algiers to Uyo on November 10, 2016 and will return just after the match scheduled November 12, 2016 at 17h 30 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium (Nest of Champions).
