FIT-again Leon Balogun returned to training with his German Bundesliga side, Mainz 05 today (Wednesday) after being on the sidelines for more than two weeks, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Balogun who suffered a hamstring injury in the game against Bayer Leverkusen, saw him miss Sunday's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers which the Super Eagles won 1-2 in Ndola.
The Nigerian international underwent light warm up as looks set to face his former side, Darmstadt this weekend.
Meanwhile his coach, Martin Schmidt has admitted that he would need to have all his players fit and rotate hem for the upcoming game in the league, DFB Cup and Europa League.
Mainz 05 is expected to play seven matches in 22 days, with only 16 fit players having lost some to the international break.
