Rajevac resigned after Algerian players protest

By Our Reporter
CONFIRMED reports from Algiers informed that players protest after Algeria's 1-1 draw with Cameroon in Sunday's 2018 World Cup Qualifiers was the reason why Milovan Rajevac resigned from his post.
His resignation comes less than a month to the game against Nigeria in the 2018 World Cup qualifers.
NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com sourced from LeMatin that the Serbian coach could not cope with the intense pressure from the Atlas Lions locker room after the game.
Nigeria's Super Eagles who got their campaign off with a 1-2 victory of Zambia's Chipolopolo go top of the group with 3points followed by Algeria and Cameroon on a point each.
According to LeMatin the ex-Ghana Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac has broken his contract after meeting with the president of the FAF Mohamed Raouraoua this afternoon.
This comes after a protest of the players before yesterday in the locker room after the 1-1 draw against Cameroon. The current has obviously never happened between the Serbian coach and group of players.
9:00 p.m. Update: FAF recently formalized the new on its website with a terse statement "Milovan Rajevac resigned today, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from the post of national team coach of Algeria."
The Atlas Lions will be visitors to Uyo, Nigeria in the second round qualifying matches of the World Cup billed for Russia.
