JUST as the Super Eagles camp has been hit with player's withdraw due to injuries ahead of this weekend 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Ndola, Zambia's Chipolopolo has suffered the same fate, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Team Manager Stanley Kaseko of the Copper Bullets revealed that Lewis Macha had been ruled out of the Nigeria game after he failed to recover from an injury he suffered last month.
Macha's place in the squad will be taken by Hapoel Ra’anana striker Rodger Kola who is expected to join camp today (Tuesday).
Kaseko also informed that Misheck Chaila has rejoined the Zambia national football team in Ndola, two days after he was released from camp along with ten other players.
Chaila, who scored the equaliser in Zesco United's 2-1 win over Konkola Blades on Sunday, trained with the rest of the squad at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Monday.
He told the Football Association of Zambia website that Chaila had been recalled as a standby player owing to an injury Clatous Chama picked up while playing for Zesco United against Konkola Blades.
Meanwhile, team captain Rainford Kalaba joined camp on Monday evening while Chisamba Lungu is expected on Tuesday while Stopilla Sunzu joins camp on Wednesday.
However, coach Wedson Nyirenda is expected to trim his squad for Nigeria on Thursday.
