ALGERIAN Ambassador to Nigeria, Belkacemi Ismaili has urged the Desert Foxes to get at least a  point against the Super Eagles in tomorrow's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Uyo, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Ismaili and other embassy staffs who were at the Uyo International Airport to receive the Algerian contingent led by Federation of Algeria Football (FAF) President, Mohamed Raouraoua said: "Thank God, all arrangements that were put in place to allow the Greens to have a good stay here in Nigeria went well. It's  our pleasure to see the Algerian supporters present at the airport to welcome the team. I hope they will be happy this Saturday as I urged the team to clinching the three points for them."The bus that conveied the Desert Foxes under the presence of a strong police escort, waited for about 45 minutes before leaving the airport for their hotel because of the late arrival of the equipment for the team.
Nigeria who beat Zambia in Ndola on match day 1 of the qualifiers top Group B with 3points while Algeria is 3rd after the played a 1-1 draw against Cameroon in Algiers.
