ALGERIA FA have confirmed that French-born whiz kid, Adam Unas is out of next month's 2018 African World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
This is a set back for Georges Leekens who on Tuesday named the Bordeaux youngster in his 18-man Desert Foxes roaster for the make or bust game in Uyo.
Recall Unas picked up an injury in Girondins Bordeaux barren draw against Marseille last Sunday.
According to the Federation of Algerian Football (FAF), "Adam Unas will not be joining the national team for the match against Nigeria.
"Having received the player's medical records, everything seems to indicate that he would be out for a few weeks. Thus, the medical staff would not want to take a risk on him.
"A replacement is expected to named to replace him."
Recall Unas who played for France junior team, recently had his nationality switch application approved by FIFA.
