HIP INJURY: Wolves put Ikeme on pain killers

CARL Ikeme could be fit for Nigeria's November 12 World Cup qualifiers against Algeria in Uyo, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
His English Championship club, Wolverhampton Wanderers said Tuesday that It's medical team are working round the clock to ensure that he's up and running soon.
Interim Coach, Rob Edwards whose focus is geared at preparing the team for this weekend's home game against Derby County gave an update on the Super Eagles shot stoppers hip injury.

Inflammation, is a localized physical condition in which part of the body becomes reddened, swollen, hot, and often painful, especially as a reaction to injury or infection.
Steroid injections can have a dramatic effect in reducing inflammation and relieving pain.
Recall the Nigerian picked up the injury at half time after he made a save during Wolves games against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
He has also been outstanding in goal for the Super Eagles since taking the first choice goalkeeping shirt after Vincent Enyeama's sudden retirement.
