Remo Stars game ‘ll be tough - Ogunbote

HEAD coach of Enyimba International FC of Aba, technical crew, Gbenga Ogunbote, has predicted a tough fixture against newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League side, Remo Stars Football Club.
The People’s Elephant will go in search of their first win against the Sky Blue in their second group B game of the ongoing 4th edition of Gold Cup Preseason Tournament at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode.
Ogunbote who spoke extensively with Gold Cup Media after their goalless draw game against Lobi Stars on Friday evening believes his wards can silence Remo Stars on Sunday evening.
“This is my first match as a coach of Enyimba, it wasnt a bad match but we still lack few things especially in the attack, our finishing was poor but nothing spoils, we need to continue to work on the team.”
“Enyimba for now is a team in the making, we are building a new team, if you see the players that played it was mixture of new players and some of the old players.”
Oracle, as Ogunbote is fondly called admitted that the Honourable Kunle Soname financed team are a good side but insisted that the Enyimba will work hard to ensure they conquer them.
“That is going to be an interesting match, playing against a team that just got promoted, their blood will be very fresh, no doubt we are going to do our best and make sure complacency does not set in for our boys.”
The former Shooting Stars and Giwa FC gaffer commends the organizers of prestigious tournament.
“We have to give many thanks to the sponsors of Gold Cup, it is going to help us because these are the grade A competition we are talking about to get us ready for the new season."
