Head coach Martin Schmidt worked at Thun as the club’s U21s coach for two years before his move to Mainz in 2010. The match will take place at 14:00 CET at the Bruchwegstadion
Meanwhile, Balogun is expected to feature in the Zerofivers game against Bayern Munich tonight at the OPEL ARENA.
Ahead the game tonight, Schmidt has charged the Nigerian and his mates to work well together in order to get a good result at the Bundesliga giants.
"We have to create chances and make the most of them.
More importantly, every player, from the goalkeeper to the striker, has to give 100% percent. Teams have already shown this season that there are ways to keep Bayern at bay.
"Our formation and tactics won’t be the decisive factor, instead it will be our mentality and desire to win that will be the most important,” noted Schmidt his pre-match media chat.
